THE 21ST STARS & STRIPES SHOW, CLASSIC AMERICAN CAR SHOW @ TATTON PARK, CHESHIRE 04.07.09 BY MEL.

To celebrate American Independence day in Cheshire @ Tatton Park we had a Stars & Stripes day, featuring vintage and classic cars & motorbikes. It is the North West's most celebrated event of the year for all things American. They featured Chrome cars from the 50's & 60's, Corvettes, Cadillacs, Mustangs, and hot rods and other custom cars. My favourites of the day were the Pink Cadillac and the Harley Davidson, which were polished to such a high standard it was like looking into a mirror.

They had a large field where the best of the competition featured and drove around with full Commentatory. Various trade stalls selling American related items, general trade stands, live music which to be honest wasn't up to much from what we saw and a line dancing tent, let's not go there girlfriend! Plenty of refreshments with the usual beer tents ect It was a great day out for all the family plus a wonderful sunny day. I took the opportunity to see some of my favourite old 50's & 60's motors and took my camera along for a treat. Hope you like my photos.
