Well here comes Summer blasting through those heavenly sky's, what a glorious heatwave we've been experiencing and Mudkiss have too been sunny and bright, devouring all kinds of stuff over the past few months and as we head into May and June who knows what it will bring.[I spoke too soon, hte weathers turned shite].John Robb I had two weeks off from the site (although dipped in and out) and took a short holiday in our new caravan. I left Mudkiss in the very capable hands of Andy Barnes and he's done a fabulous job - thank Andy. We've had a bit of a change around in the team and acquired some fresh young blood to write for us and as one or two say goodbye to Mudkiss to do their own thing we move onwards and wish former contributors lots of luck with their own web sites.
I've created a little photography blog page, called Mudkiss Photography and you can find more about it here: http://mudkissphotography.blogspot.com
Basically I want my photos to tell a story and this is about keeping those memories alive - with my own personal narrative. It might be a photoshoot, a raucous live show, it might just be holiday snaps or maybe a nice picturesque landscape/cityscape. I've started up all kinds of sites, which I haven't had the patience or inclination to keep updated, apart from Flickr, such as model mayhem, carbonmade, soulkiss, but nothing really lets me talk about how I came across those images like a blogger page, something simple and easy.
I've tried my hand at a little more adventurous photography, and with a lovely little pin up Model called Lily Stark, I managed to create some nice portraits, hope you agree. It's an area I would love to become more involved in.
It was also great meeting Brian Cannon in his studio in Wigan, and taking some photos of him, a very interesting guy, a super creative force too. On top of all this excitement I met up with John Robb for a delightful photoshoot, he is such a natural, charming with it - male model material for sure.
We have a stack of interviews set up and raring to go, and of course in due course they will be listed below. Rock n' Roll on...
Ciao for now xx
